What is Bitsecurity?

Bitsecurity is a category where various banks, securities institutions, and enterprises issue corresponding Bitsecurities by pledging Bitgold as collateral, with the management of these being overseen by national authorities. Bitsecurity includes securities such as stock securities, currency securities, and commodity securities.

Functions of Bitsecurity:

Currency Securities: Currency securities are valuable securities that can be used as a substitute for money. They are mainly used for business transactions, payment of labor remuneration, debt settlement, etc. Common examples include promissory notes, bills of exchange, promissory notes, and checks.

Capital Securities: Capital securities refer to written proof of capital invested into an enterprise or provided to a business or state. Capital securities mainly include equity securities (ownership securities) and debt securities, such as various stocks and bonds.

Commodity Securities: Commodity securities are certificates that grant the holder the right to withdraw the listed goods. Holders of these securities can claim the goods specified on the certificate. Common examples include warehouse receipts, bills of lading, and delivery orders.

Issuance and Management of Bitsecurity:

Bitsecurity must be issued under the leadership of the national government and with proper regulation. The specific details of the plan will be customized once digital economy regulations are further developed.

At the current stage, Bitsecurity can be issued for experimental purposes through the pledge of Bitgold as collateral (similar to smart contract templates).
