Value Transfer Protocol (VTP)
In the era of the information internet, we have the TCP/IP protocol, as well as the HTTP protocol at the application layer. In the era of the value internet, in order to enable standardized transmission of value, we propose the VTP standard — Value Transfer Protocol. In the future, this will enable an explicit value exchange protocol system, exemplified by:vtp://0xbacde…bacde<ethereum>
Openverse Name Service (ONS)
Just as websites have domain names, blockchains will also have names. These names will be managed on the Openverse Network, which will operate the Openverse Name Service. This service will make it easier for users of the value-based Internet to identify and interact with the blockchain networks and the broader Internet they wish to engage with.
Unified Identification (UID)
Universe Identification (UID) is the account standard for IBC-enabled worlds. Essentially, it allows metaverse to securely manage accounts on other metaverse via IBC. With this capability, users will be able to access the entire Interchain through a single Openverse Network account. One UID, for all chains.
Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC)
The Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol is an interoperability framework designed for transmitting arbitrary data between any state machines. The protocol is structured into two distinct layers: the Transport, Authentication, and Ordering (TAO) layer and the Application layer. The TAO layer provides the essential infrastructure for establishing secure connections between blockchains and for verifying data packets, while the Application layer precisely defines how the sending and receiving chains should package and interpret these packets. The IBC Application layer enables the development of a wide range of cross-chain applications, including but not limited to token transfers, interchain accounts (delegated calls between chains), non-fungible token (NFT) transfers, and oracle data feeds.
Universal Time (UT)
UT(Universal Time) is designed to be the unified temporal standard for the Value Internet, analogous to A.D. and B.C. in human chronology and timestamps in computing and network systems. It enables a synchronized and consistent time sequence for communication and coordination across the Value Internet.
Fully compatible with EVM through subnetwork
Since the launch of Ethereum in 2015, the ability to control digital assets through smart contracts has attracted a large number of developers to build decentralized applications on the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). OpenEVM is an open-source blockchain operating system code and program that is EVM-compatible. It allows any individual, government, institution, enterprise, or private entity to run autonomous public chains, consortium chains, and private chains. These blockchains will inherit the low latency, high throughput, and high performance of the Openverse Network, while enabling seamless and free token & NFT transfers with the Openverse Network through “protocol-based cross-chain” functionality.
With OpenEVM, you can easily build and deploy EVM smart contracts on the chain to implement the core business logic of dApps. You can also migrate existing dApps from other EVM blockchains (such as Ethereum) to the OpenEVM chain. Since OpenEVM is fully compatible with EVM, it allows you to use the same tools (such as Solidity, Remix, Oracles, etc.) and APIs (i.e., Ethereum JSON-RPC) available on EVM.
